  • Mr Tim Oldfield

GBI CEO — Mr Tim Oldfield

Tim Oldfield began his business career back in the early eighties and quickly became successful with a large Australian distribution company. From there his adventures and business interests lead him to America where he set up other businesses, attracting local and international investors. Tim then began the ‘Gold Rush’ business in America, setting up carts in major shopping centres across the country. Once the business was established he set his sights on home shores again, bringing his unique business model back to Australia and New Zealand in early 2009. Since then, expansion has continued to show promise into Asia, Europe, Scandinavia, South America, Latin America and South Africa with further opportunities planned in each region.

“With over 650 stores now open in 28 countries, employing over 2,900 people across the world, the last 12 months has seen an amazing and huge demand for what we do. We have formed many wonderful bonds and relationships on this journey and look forward to building upon those solid foundations. My deepest gratitude to everyone on the team. We all did this together and in great unison.”
